Irina started her photographic career as a photojournalist in Saint Petersburg, Russia, gaining a vast  experience. She has also cooperated with Greenpeace Russia, and eventually she fell in love with the idea of documenting images from China and decided to settle in Beijing.

In China, she started to work as a commercial photographer, and combining it with her passion for street photography. She has been working with MOOI Studio since its inception. Irina speaks Russian, English and Chinese.

At the present time, she is deeply involved in Fashion Photography, engaging portraits privately commissioned and reportage of high end events.
